The Lord's Prayer Expanded

 And Jesus said, ' When you pray, pray as such:

For food

Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
        on earth as it is in heaven.
     Give us this day our daily bread and water. Amen.

For safety

Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
        on earth as it is in heaven.
    Keep us safe and rescue us from the evil ones. Amen.

When waking up

Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
        on earth as it is in heaven.
    Make this day holy for me,
        devoid of any sin. Amen.

When going to sleep

Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
        on earth as it is in heaven.
    Take my soul with you,
        keep me safe from the evil ones in thy kingdom. Amen.


During hardship

Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,

    Open the doors of Your Mercy for us.
        Keep us safe from harm. Amen. '
