Jesus on homes

And then Jesus said to the crowd, “Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home. Be like birds. Wherever they settle is their temporary lodging. And wherever you are is your home. If you’re in the wilderness, that place is your home. If you’re inside a temple, that temple is your home as well as home of my father and your father also. People make permanent homes for themselves even though that place is not their permanent lodging. And they die and their body is put in their graves which becomes their house. And others believe that the deceased is now in his permanent home. However, those graves themselves are not their homes either, because they’ll rise up from their graves on their judgment day.”
