Christ on Lust and other things.

Saith Christ, "I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. The body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. Do not lust in your heart after this world's beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace, but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. But truly the one who indulges not in this world and refrains for all types of sin, the monks who serve their lives serving God, truly i tell you: they shall sit on the right hand of Christ in his eternal kingdom where there is no death and sin. Truly the sinners are worse than animals, nay, they are lower. Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person. It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the materialists, who do not know God; God is patient, love is kind. God does not envy, God does not boast, God is not proud. God does not dishonor others, God is not self-seeking, God is not easily angered, God keeps no record of wrongs. God does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. God always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. God never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. God remains forever. You say, 'Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.' The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. Do you not know that your bodies are members of God himself? Shall I then take the members of God and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, 'The two will become one flesh.' But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies, he will honor your soul with eternal life."
